"Megapol, Developer of Value-Adding Projects"

Hacı Mustafa Gökdemir, who laid the foundations of his construction business in Kelkit, Gümüşhane, moved his activities to İzmir from the early 1950s. Under the Mustafa Gökdemir İnşaat banner, he delivered numerous projects of great importance to İzmir, such as the Atatürk Neighborhood, the 3rd Industrial Estate and the Adil Demir Estate. In the 1970s he ventured into block brick production in Turgutlu, Manisa, serving the industry for many years under the İzblok brand.

By the early 1990s, the construction activities took on a new vision under the "Megapol" brand, founded together with his son S. Selim Gökdemir. Megapol stood out with the prestigious towers it added to the İzmir skyline, delivering landmark projects such as Mavi Kule, Heris Tower, the Sunucu and Martı Plazas, Kordon Kule, Megapol Tower, Megapol Çarşı Kule and Megapol İzmir.

Over time, Megapol's core business evolved from construction contracting into real estate investment and project development. By making strategic investments in areas that had yet to realize their development potential, Megapol added lasting value to these parts of the city through its projects.

Today, with real estate investment as its core business, Megapol also continues its activities in construction and building management as well as culture and the arts. As of February 2026, its construction operations were separated from the group and transferred to the management of Cenk Demir Gökdemir. As a third-generation leader, Cenk Demir Gökdemir has given strong momentum to the construction activities with his energy and a fresh perspective.
